DR. JAMES PARSONS, CEO

Dr. James Parsons began his pre-chiropractic studies at Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas on a baseball scholarship. During his junior year, after many injuries to the shoulder, his baseball career came to an end. He then headed back home to Corpus Christi and finished up the courses needed to apply to Texas Chiropractic College.
When he was about ten years old, Dr. Parsons found out (through his chiropractor) that he had Scoliosis. He saw Dr. Patrick Thomas three times a week for the next several years and watched in amazement as his spine became straighter. Thanks to Dr. Thomas, he was able to have an athletic career and remain very healthy. This chiropractor was the "family doctor" for Dr. Parsons and his family.
Dr. Parsons received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 1994. He completed a Neurosurgery rotation at St. Lukes Hospital with one of the top surgeons in Texas and donated an abundance of time to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He worked with several doctors for the next few years following graduation and came to Back Pain Chiropractic in Pearland in 1996. He purchased the business in 1997 and changed the name to Premier Chiropractic in 2007.
Dr. Parsons loves to spend time with his family, play golf, hunt, and travel the world to experience new cultures. His passion for his profession led him to teach growing chiropractors how to become healers. He also teaches his Associate Doctors how to take care of their own communities in hopes to set them up in one of their own clinics. Dr. Parsons strives to spread the importance of chiropractic and improve the quality of life for his patients.
