Dr. Walker is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and now calls Texas home. She attended The University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Walker studied Human Performance & Exercise Science, fueled by her passion for understanding the science and biomechanics of the body.
Initially she planned to attend physical therapy school, until her senior year of college, while enrolled in a professional development course, she was instructed to shadow other professions separate from Physical Therapist to confirm this decision. After long hours of observation at several local chiropractic offices, Dr. Walker gained further insight into the science of Chiropractic. She admired patient’s reaction to treatment and the respect for their chiropractor which helped to drive her new passion.
She decided to further her knowledge in the field of study and attended Texas Chiropractic College where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Walker enjoys educating her patient’s on the importance of spinal hygiene and aiding the body to heal optimally with the removal of any interference. She is an advocate for teaching others and helping them understanding their bodies true natural potential to heal with the proper lifestyle changes. Her goal is to teach everyone about the many benefit of chiropractic care.
Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with family, trying new restaurants, and watching sports in her free time.
